When we talk about the best acting performances for this year, the prominent names that come into mind are, George Clooney’s, for his exceptional performance in ‘Up in The air’ making him a formidable contender for this category. His great performance in this movie has been appreciated by fans and critics alike. The others contenders for this field are Mickey Rourkela, Sean Penn and Frank Langela.
Fans of the genre of psycho serial killers have also been taken by a great deal of surprise with the prospect of the critically acclaimed Leather face, seen in Texas Chainsaw Massacre, returning to the big screen again. Speculations have been rife in this context and fans are in for quite a lot of entertainment this time around, sine the movie will be made in 3D. There will be blood and gore galore this time as the full 3D effects will definitely be creating realistic scenes.
The movie ‘Bad Lieutenant’ has been under progress for quite some time now and finally, the trailer of the much-awaited movie ‘Summer Promised’ showed up recently. This Nickolas Cage starrer definitely promises to be a great entertainer, packed with a lot of action and a credible ensemble of superstars that is sure to do well at the box offices. The movie is centered on a adult stuff, with lot of action and drugs, so make sure to watch out for the loaded explicit content.
The Oscars are always the buzz in Hollywood. As the most prestigious award, the golden statue is coveted by every film personality, be it director, actor or musician. This year however the Academy Award board has bent some of its previous sets of rules, and has changed the dates for choosing movies for consideration to post November from its usual norm of pre October. This has made possible for a lot many more movies to be applicable for the Oscar and this has led to the competition becoming fierce and cut-throat.
