The great and successful director Christopher Nolan, of The Dark Knight fame that had won a lot of success at film festivals, is getting geared on his next ambitious project, again funded by Warner Brothers. The movie, titled Inception, stars Leonardo Di Caprio as the lead character, and this makes the movie all the more anticipated.

The ‘Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus’ is probably a movie that is yet to be publicized, and is bound to garner a lot of attention, as this movie is the last Heath Ledger-starrer movie that will be seen. The screenings have been shown at various film festivals and have been creating quite a bit of speculation in Hollywood.

Robert Downey Junior couldn’t be happier these days. The multi-starrer ‘Ironman 2’ is complete and the movie is already turning out to be quite an interesting and explosive sequel. What’s better is the fact that the movie will then be led onto the mega multi-starrer ‘Avengers’, which has been scheduled for the year 2012. The movie stars great celebrities and this is definitely the best multi starrer to be seen in years.

‘Robin Hood’, starring Russell Crowe, is definitely the costliest movie that has been made by Hollywood yet. Ridley Scott takes the leverage of directing this movie, and as we know, the world can’t wait for this exceptionally great movie.
The critically acclaimed Martin Scorcese, with the many Oscar awards that he holds, is definitely going to be en route to the Oscar road again. The Leonardo-starrer ‘Shutter Island’ is coming to theaters soon. The plot line and the concept have all been kept secret. The combination of Di Caprio and Scorcese is a definite hit.

2009, as of now, is yet to be a year of dry hits. The qualities in movies are yet to be seen and all the hyped movies have only been average or just about good. No sleeper hits yet, and this could be quite disappointing to movie buffs as no trailers have been seen.
The Tarantino flick, ‘Inglorious Bastards’, has been creating rave film reviews and has received a positive feedback from the world over. The movie has been praised for its extremely intelligent direction and presentation. The movie is nothing short of spectacular. However, die-hard Quentin Tarantino fans might feel that this movie is nothing compared to his previous fiction.
The Dark Knight sequel is yet to be confirmed. Director Nolan is yet to decide anything or even give it a title. However, the movie rumors keep pouring in, saying that the ‘Joker’ will return, using the advantage of the various CGI seen today. The movie is being completely hushed up and no one seems to know anything about it.
