Movies based on books have done well at times and at times failed to impress the audiences as they always feel the book is a much deeper and immersive experience that makes the mind, picture the entire setting. That’s how book transferred movies are judged today as the entire setting is made with a lot of trouble that can satisfy readers and viewers with a perfect sense of interpreting page by page or even line by line.
The time traveler’s wife tale is a love story set within Chicago and the movie is based a lot on the various time manipulations and differences. The story is simple but the various settings and plot twist make up for the special romantic story to unfold pretty well. The casting is excellent and Rachel Mcadams shows her maturity as an actress. The movie is made with a lot of expected and unexpected scenes that keep surprising audiences every minute. The director Robert Schwentke does a good job and one thing that will impress his fans is the sheer difference in movies he chooses. From flight plan to the time travelers’ tales is a vast and huge leap. With top notch cinematography and a wonderful script the movie is sure to impress the crowds and readers alike. Acting by Eric Bana could have been a little better as he is again focused as a lead character but for some reason a better choice could have been made. The movie is made well and the pacing is really good.

The plot is mainly surrounded by love and the changing timeline seen as a disorder possessed by Bana. Based on pure fiction and a fairy tale like setting the Movie keeps progressing with how Rachel Mcadams keeps her belief that she is destined to be with Bana. The movie does have its adult theme surrounding it and thus falls into the PG13 category. The best part of the movie is the fact that it never makes you realize it’s a drag.
By the end all you have a great movie that is not too deep in substance but a great story nevertheless. The movie does not move you or get you to ponder which is what a good movie usually does. The other segments of the movie are great and the score too in my opinion was extremely well composed. Jot the movie onto your must-see list if you are a fan of romantic movies. The movie is in a certain way similar to the Notebook which also stars Rachel Mcadams in the lead and this is what makes the movie and its cast interesting. We go in with an expectation and come out satisfied. The movie unfolds at a good pace with a wonderful theme and while watching it you will not be disappointed. Just hope the time travelling concept does not bother you.
