Empire magazine got hold of the images of Johnny Depp and Christian Bale in Michael Mann’s Public Enemies. The film tells the story of a charismatic criminal gang leader John Dilinger and determined lawman Melvin Purvis played by Bale, the FBI agent tracking him down. It also stars Marion Cotillard as Dillinger’s girlfriend, Channing Tatum, Giovanni Ribisi, David Wenham, Leelee Sobieski and Emilie de Ravin, with Billy Crudrup as the legendary J. Edgar Hoover.
