FSR got hold of some interesting photos from the directorial venture of Drew Barrymore called Whip It. The film is based on the Derby Girl written by Shauna Cross. It was hinted some time back that Ellen Page will be taking the lead roll of Bliss Cavender, an indie rock loving misfit who finds her place as part of the Texas women’s roller derby.

Now with the rest of the cast set. It surely looks interesting. The film also stars Kristen Wiig, Zoe Bell, Juliet Lewis, Marcia Gay Harden and Arrested Development’s Alia Shawkat. The film has just finished lensing in Machigan. The following photos were taken on the set of the film. In the photos we see a portrait of Ellen page will look as the roller girl so this is going to be something special.
