The screening for the film have sort of given people a better preview to the Oscars. One of the highlights of the film is the performance of Cate Blanchett. She seems to assay her role with beautiful ease. She has sort of given an Oscar friendly performance. But her closest competitor for the time being is Kate Winslet with her role in Revolutionary Road.
Many of the big blogs have already given the green signal for several nominations. But its biggest surprise is truly Cate Blanchett. Brad Pitt plays more of an observer in this film.
The film should receive close to 10 nominations at this rate. The trailer is a mash up of what we have seen till now. The film is directed by David Fincher and scripted by Eric Roth who adapted it from the short story.
