Disney has released another trailer for Pixar’s Up. The first third again attempts to sell the film based on the animation studios past achievements. People at Disney are still not sure how to sell a movie like this. I love the fantastical imagery and bright colors. The character of the grumpy old Carl Fredricksen has been grown on us the more and more we see him.

The film is directed by Academy Award nominated team of director Pete Docter and co director Bob Peterson. Up is said to be a comedy adventure taking off and lifting spirits in summer 2009.

Carl Fredricksen spent his entire life dreaming of exploring the globe and experiencing life to its fullest. But at the age of 78, life seems to have passed him by, until a fateful day he gets a chance of a new life. UP takes audiences on a thrilling journey where the unlikely pair encounters wild terrain, unexpected villains and jungle creatures.

The film is set to release on May 29th 2009
