Beyonce Knowles

Beyonce Knowles just recently revealed to LA Times that she plans to do a big screen version of Wonder Woman. I think the idea will be really cool. She actually met with DC Comics and Warner Bros to express her interest in playing the role.

“I want to do a superhero movie and what would be better than Wonder Woman? It would be great. And it would be a very bold choice. A black Wonder Woman would be a powerful thing. It’s time for that, right?” said Beyonce. “After doing these roles that were so emotional I was thinking to myself, ‘OK, I need to be a superhero’. Although, when you think about the psychology of the heroes in the films these days, they are still a lot of work, of course, and emotional. But there’s also an action element that I would enjoy.”

Now there is news about who might take up the reigns of directing this project. DC and Warner Bros want McG to direct the Wonder Woman movie. But there have just been talks on the movie nothing really concrete has actually happened about it. Everybody seems to want McG after what he has done for the Terminator Series. He seems to be on everyone’s radar.

The problem with Wonder Woman was the stupid plane and the lack of anything catchy in her repertoire. So I m really not sure how many people will want this made.
