Tagline: One Boat. Eight Men. No Morals.
Synopsis
In the 1960’s, a group of rogue English radio DJs setup a radio station on a boat in the middle of the North Sea and broadcast rock music that defined a generation and stood up to the British government. The Boat That Rocked is the cinematic retelling of that tremendous story, as captured by Love Actually writer/director Richard Curtis.
You really don’t have to be disheartened with director’s last couple of movies. Why? Check out the cast for this one. It stars Bill Nighy, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Kenneth Branagh, Nick Frost, and Rhy Ifans make up most of the DJs, while Gemma Arterton and January Jones play the beauty that destroy the flow of things. The poster for the film area really colourful and is surely going to be something to watch out for.
The striking thing of this film will be the addition of Philip Seymour Hoffman to the proceedings. He will surely shine among this cast.
