United Artists has debuted one more final trailer for Valkyrie. The film will be due out just before the year ends in December. The new trailer still looks awesome. It is sure going to live up to its hype in my view. Bryan Singer is still one of my favorite visual directors of all time. His work on X Men really cemented his greatness. Even though many people have been complaining because of the lack of German dialog in the movie, it still will turn out to be as good as Schindler’s List.
Synopsis
At the height of WW2, a group of high-ranking German officers hatched a plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler, and seize power of the military command in order to end the war. The operation was codenamed “Valkyrie”, for the emergency plan that was meant to be used in case of a revolt against the Nazi government. This plan had been modified by the conspirators to ensure their success, but for various reasons the plot failed when finally carried out on July 20th, 1944.
Valkyrie is directed by Bryan Singer, who previously directed The Usual Suspects, X-Men 1 & 2, andSuperman Returns. The film’s screenplay was written by Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects,The Way of the Gun) and Nathan Alexander. Valkyrie arrives in theaters on December 26th this year.
