The news has just been out and I m really excited about this development. Maggie had gone into a semi retirement till casting news for the Quentin Tarantino movie was out just yesterday.

Maggie Cheung has evidently been cast as Madame Mimieux, the French matron of the Cinematheque that takes in the protagonist Shosanna played by Melanie Laurent when she is homeless and being sought by the Nazis. Cheung who is Chinese is really fluent in French and is one of cinemas greatest living actors.

Even Samuel Jackson who I don’t really give damn about anymore is cast in the film as well. He somehow got himself a role on this film as the narrator. We are really excited for Maggie Cheung who is surely going to be the career move in Quentin’s career.

Maggie Cheung in a Tarantino film. Am surprised. But she is an amazing actor. Imprints her unique style in the characters she plays.

I really hope that the cooperation between Maggie Cheung and Quentin will come true.
