There have been some really nice things people have to say about this movie. The performances are one of the mainstays in the mind of all the critics. Knightley is luminous in her role as the beloved Vera.

A clip of this moment on the poster has been shown in various places. It has already been heralded as iconic. The film is directed by John Maybury from the Rome series and the film The Jacket, which also starred Keira Knightley, Cinematographer Jonathan Freeman creates a beautiful palette in this film. The score is by the brilliant Angelo Badalmenti, who has done most of David Lynch’s pictures.

The film has already been screened in the UK. But it will have its US release only in March 2009. We have just located two international posters of the film. They do look beautiful.
