Slumdog Millionaire will be moved up by a week to November 12 th 2008. The film will now open on Wednesday instead of November 19 th release date. But no official reason was given but it is more likely because Darren Aronofsky’s The Wrestler will be given more breathing room.

Slumdog Millionaire tells the story about a boy who wins the jackpot on Kaun Banega Crorepati. He had gone onto the game shot to reach his missing girlfriend, whom he knows watched the show religiously. When he wins the jackpot, he is suspected of cheating.
