Michael Sheen to join Johnny Depp

Michael Sheen

The British actor has joined the cast of the “Unthinkable”. The film also stars Samuel Jackson. He will also be seen with Johnny Depp in the Tim burton re working of Alice in Wonderland.

Unthinkable is directed by Gregor Jordan, it will look into the ethics of torture after a terrorist threatening to detonate nuclear devices in the U.S is questioned by a black ops interrogator and an FBI agent played by Carrie Ann Moss.

The film will being shooting next month. Both the pictures will be a change in direction for Sheen who has made a name for himself playing real life characters to critical acclaim.

In his next film Sheen plays British TV personality David Frost in Ron Howard’s upcoming Frost/Nixon. He portrayed former British Prime Minister Tony Blair in The Deal and The Queen both of which were directed by Stephen Frears.

He is also in Man United film about the legendary English soccer coach Brian Clough in The Damned Unted. The film is right now in post production. He will also reprise his role as Blair in Morgan’s The Special Relationship an intimate look at the former prime minister’s relationships with US presidents Clinton and Bush.
