A scene from You are My Sunshine

Lee Eugene and director Park Jin Pyo reteam on melodrama a Flower Man. This will follow their successful partnership in their last two movies You Are My Sunshine and the hit Voice of a Murderer.

Flower Man will be a story in the same vein as the tear jerker You Are my Sunshine. It tells the story of a man suffering from Lou Gehrig’s disease and a femme funeral director. Korean stars Kwon Sang Woo and Ha Ji Won are confirmed to star in the film.

The film is scripted by the director Park and the film will be in the same vein as Sunshine. Sunshine was really popular love story by the director that deals with themes like AIDS and prostitution. The film was a big hit in South Korea when it was released in 2005.

The new film Flower will begin shooting in November and it will be expected to be released in January next year. The producer Lee has just recently finished his work on his blockbuster film Jeon Woo Chi directed by Choi Dong Hoon. So with the news of the Flower Man he seems to set his sights on a really big box office prize for next year.
