The film that has been send to the Oscars from Austria is Revanche. It is directed by Gotz Spielmann and it has received a lot of positive critical praise from the recent Berlin Film Festival. It has been described as his best work to date.

The film will be releasing the US soon. It tells the story of Alex who works under a brother owner Konecny. The film deals with a robbery and a relationship that springs up between a prostitute working in this brothel and Alex. They plan to leave this place and settle elsewhere. The film has been exceptionally well received.
