The production for this movie will start next month in Kansas and New Orleans. It is written and directed by Olivier Dahan whose last outing garnered the Best Actress prize in La Vie En Rose. Now the director has got two interesting actors to play the lead in the movie Forest Whitaker and Renee Zellweger.

The producer of the directors early film will be also be on board for this movie. Madeline Zima will also join the Oscar winning cast.

The film centers on a roadtrip to Memphis undertaken by a wheelchair bound former singer and her friend. Both have faced tragedy in their lives and each becomes the other’s chief support.

Zellweger has been busy this year with her work finished on Appaloosa and comedies like Chilled in Miami and My One and Only. On the other hand Whitaker will be seen in another multiple narrative film after the Air I Breath called the Winged Creatures.
