This surely another movie that is sure to get the Oscar season in full swing. There have been loads of people talking about this movie a sure tour de force by its principal cast that is Sean Penn, Emile Hirsh and James Franco. Milk details the life of Harvey Milk, the self described Mayor of Castro Street and the first openly gay politician to be elected to a public office. The other aspect of the man is that he was tragically assassinated along with Mayor George Moscone, by rival Dan White who famously used the Twinkle defense when he was eventually tried for the crime. So this is surely going to be the most talked about Oscar contender for the year. The full length trailer for the film is out on Apple and we have also got you the sneak peak from it.

The film has Josh Brolin who is having the best career swing of his lifetime battling out with Sean Penn on the big screen. The script for the film was written by Dustin Lance Black of TV’s Big Love fame. Focus Features will be releasing this Gus Van Sant directed movie in November.
