Fox has also succumbd to the string of films that have been changing their release dates with shifting of their big ticket outback romance Australia to November 26 th.

Australia which was slated to release on November 14 th about 48 hours after its November 13 th release in Australia. But now there is news also that the Australian premier date will also be changed to with the US release. Warner Bros who moved their big budget Harry Potter Film from November 21 to next summer has been the route cause of many of the movies shifting dates.

Saga of an English woman (Nicole Kidman) who comes to remote Australia and falls for a rugged cattle drover (Hugh Jackman) is set against the backdrop of World War II.

The filming for the movie was over last year and director is right now shooting pick ups in Australia with the lead actors.

But the date shift will seriously give Luhrmann more time to polish his movie and make it just right for release. Some of the other releases during the Thanksgiving weekend are the vampire flick Twilight, the Disney toon Bolt and the Cormac McCarthy adaptation The Road.
