Christopher Landon is all set to make his directorial debut with the indie dark comedy Burning Plains which he wrote as well.
What’s described as a subversive tale interlaces five stories set in Los Angeles, where no taboo is left unexplored as each character careens toward a dark and often comic fate.
The producers on the film are Oren Segal, Steven Prince and Jason Hewitt is joined by Tyler Thompson, Vince Morella and Nas Jafri as executive producers. The financing for the film is done by Films in Motion.
The principal photography will begin in the first week of October in Los Angeles.
Landon, a writer on ABC skein “Dirty Sexy Money,” recently completed “The Flock” for Warner Bros. and has a pair of projects set up at Rogue, including a “Near Dark” remake.
