A scene from Toy Story

So with the developments going full swing on the Toy Story 3 movie it is certain now that it will be in 3D. The voices for the principal characters have already been cast. The new supporting toys Barbie and Ken are yet to be finalized. But there has been some news on this front with people saying Michael Keaton and Jodi Benson to do the voices for these new supporting characters. In Toy Story 2 there was the introduction of Barbie with Jodi doing the voice for her. But now she seems to hope on board for the third this parallels the news of the other cast members like Tom Hanks and Tim Allen returning for this 3 D sequel. Keaton is no stranger to the Pixar workings he had a small role in the Cars animation.

This is surely going to be debated in the next couple of weeks whether a sequel is warranted for this hugely successful movie. But there will be many who will question the enduring qualities of most of the characters of Toy Story. But let’s hope that this film will not mark the end of original stories coming out of Pixar. There have been many sequels planned like the Monster and Cars. So lets put our fingers crossed and expect something extraordinary in the 3D front.
