Australian Actress Mia Wasikowska looks set to make a screen presence with her role in the Tim Burton directed Alice In Wonderland.

The Canberra actress was seen in the Australian TV series All Saints at the age of 14. So this will surely be a huge transition for the young lady who will be seen acting with Johnny Depp in the Burton film.

“I’m so so excited. The books really intrigued me when I was little and I’ve always loved the story,” she said.

The film will combine motion capture technology and live action footage. The script was written by Linda Woolverton. Filming was originally supposed to start in May but was pushed to September. The fill will be released in March 19 th 2010 as of now. Johnny Depp will portray the Mad Hatter.
