The film is all set to release by the end of this year. There have been various news articles that have been doing the rounds. There have been some harsh book reading sessions prescribed by the director of the film. He even had an apology given to the fans for his trade name. This is to make sure no hard feelings come from the fact he made terrible movie like We Are Marshall and Charlies Angels Full Throttle. So in order to prove that he is actually serious about the role he has taken as the director of Terminator he has come up with some interesting things.
He has been going on distributing copies of The Road to just show how serious he is about this film. He wanted the cast to understand the existential detachment that is really relevant in this movie as well. But this is no where close to the depiction of what he is trying to do with the Terminator. But I guess there is no harming trying a little to get rid of the bitter taste of his earlier movies.
There is also other news out when McG told MTV news that the title of the new film will actually lead us to decipher the plot of the film. The thing is really simple like the second part that was named Judgment Day because of the apocalypse coming to the world. But with this movie the World is given a second chance.
“Even though we may sin, ultimately we deserve a second chance,” McG echoed.
But just as “Judgment Day” also alluded to the choice a Terminator must ultimately make, “Salvation” similarly alludes to the actions of one specific character, McG said.
“Sometimes life is worth living when you make sacrifices so others may benefit,” he teased.
So who is going to be the person who does this? Who will make the sacrifice? I just hope it is not John Connor.
