We have a lot of buzz on our site with this movie. The trailer gave us a totally new side of Jeremy Irons who seems to embody a Russell Crowe sort of transformation in this movie. But he sounds and looks classier than the former. This is surely one of those Unforgiven type westerns with a totally modern take on the genre. Ed Harris who will direct this feature is totally in a new league with this film. The trailer looks really promising and is sure to going to be a small hit when it comes out.

Appaloosa will open on October 3rd, 2008. The film might get a shot at the Oscars if Jeremy Irons pulls of something with his villainous turn in this movie.
