Dakota Fanning seems to be top lining some really interesting projects. We just had a preview of her last movie called Winged Creatures that is sure to create some Oscar buzz. Now there is this really independent movie starring Jennifer Hudson, Queen Latifah, Alicia Keys and Sophie Okenedo.

The film is about a young girls played by Dakot Fanning who is haunted by the memory of her late mother. With the help of her caregiver Rosaleen (Jennifer Hudson) she runs off to a South Carolina town and is taken in by the Boatwright sisters played by the stellar Queen Latifah, Alicia Keys and the sublime Sophie Okonedo. They teach her the comforts of beekeeping and honey. But the girl is dogged by her past in the form of her father played by Paul Bettany.

This film is sure going to bring together both drama and a feel good entertainer. It will release on October 17th.
