Thomas Turgoose is on the ‘Scounting Book’

Hot young British thespian Thomas Turgoose is all set to star in Tom Harper’s directorial debut “The Scounting Book for Boys.”

Tugoose is known to face troubled characters will put his hands into another one. He came into the limelight with his young skinhead performance in This is England and made people look up in the other Shane Meadows’ “Somers Town,” again playing a troubled teen in this movie as well. The film Scouting Boys is a about a boy who helps a girl run away from home.

Jack Thorne (“Skins”) has written the screenplay for the pic, which is produced by Christian Colson and Ivana Mackinnon from Celador Films, which finances alongside Film4 and regional screen agency Screen East.
Susan Lynch and newcomer Holliday Grainger also star. Pathe will be handling the distribution and internationally as well.
