Her work in the international arena has made her one of the forces of cinema. In her recent film with Woody Allen she seems to be renewed by some really creditable form. So with all these movies like Volver, Elegy and Vicky Cristina Barcelona she has become sort of the pick of the critics.

Her work with Pedro will still continue to define her career. Pedro is now busy writing another script with her in the movie. Just can’t wait to see this pretty eyed lasso to make another lasting impression in another Pedro movie.

So with the announcement of IFP’s Gotham Award Tribute for her work is surely going to cement her career as a really serious actress. This award was won by Javier Bardem last year for his work in No country For Old Men. He is also her co star in Vicky Cristina Barcelona.
