Isabelle Huppert honored at Montreal

This is good news for one of our favorite actress Isabelle Huppert. She will receive a career achievement award from the Montreal World Film Festival. She has won many such awards talks candidly in an interview we had posted quiet some time back. Click here to see the interview on the great thespian.

The film festival will open in a couple of days on August 21st and will run until the first of next month. It will showcase five of her very famous films including the recent “Home” directed by Ursala Meier.

The Other films included will be the 1978 Claude Chabrol classic Violette Noziere. She has worked with director in seven of his films. 1980’s “Heaven’s Gate” directed by Michael Camino will also be screened. The next two films are both by Chabrol Madam Bovary and “L’Ivresse du pouvoir”.
