Australia is the new film starring Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman in the main roles. The film is written and directed by Baz Luhrmann. This the second time both will be working together after the successful musical Moulin Rouge. The story takes place during the bombing of Darwin in Australia during the World War II. Principal photography for the film was wrapped up last year it is now in the post production stages. Most of the film was shot in Sydney and then moved on to Bowen. The first trailer for the movie raised alot of shutterbugs. Recently a picture on the vogue also surfaced of how the film will look.

It is surely going to be a sweeping tale much in the vain of Gone in the Wind. But many historical themes are surely going to be covered in the film. The film is slated to release in the end of this year.
