Starring: Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., Brandon T. Jackson, Steve Coogan
Directed By: Ben Stiller

Ben Stiller seems to get back to his old antics once again. The film is sort of a rip off his unseen show. There are loads of concepts that make their appearance in this film and will surely leave you in splits. Ben Stiller makes sure that each of the actors get their worth of screen time. There are scenes of total nonsense that is sure to make you think of it days after you have even watched it.
Now for the performers Robert Downey Jr certainly gets the meat of the whole story. He keeps staying in character till it gets sort of beyond him. He is also given lines like
“I don’t break character till the DVD commentary,”
Robert Downey Jr really seems to have a blast with his character. He is so strung up in the whole film that he will make you laugh till it hurts. The film even begins with him in a obscure film of a father who has sinned for God knows what reason. Tobey Maguire also stars in the trailer of the movie. But then there is the butt of all jokes Jack Black who you just can’t take seriously for a minute. His scenes with the jellybean dust are some of the highlights of the writing. Steve Coogan also assays his role with a frustration that is reminiscent of his character in A Cock and Bull Story.
But it is really Ben Stiller who takes this show on the road ( let me say river ). He seems to stretch some of the jokes dealing with method acting and retards to cerebral heights. It is clearly not a film for woman who have issues and probably who are pregnant. It really takes a lot of guts to bring a film that is filled with such interesting puns. Puns have seriously made this summers blockbuster something to really watch. For Instance in the Dark Knight they had Slaughter is the Best Medicine on the vehicle from which Joker was firing at Harvey Dent.
The director also take great liberties in concocting new ways of cussing on screen. You will surely taken back by the Actor who should not be named for promotional reasons who very loudly takes the expletives a bit too far. It is certainly a side we haven’t seen from the Actor but it is sure to bring a new legion of fans. This is surely a film that is sure to make you stand and up and clap by the end of it. Take my word for it.
