The recent surge in Tom Cruise’s career has been sort of unprecedent. How just one role can change the career of a man? Tropic Thunder seems to be diong wonders for Tom Cruise even though there have been silly protests on the movie probably by the fan boys of batman who still want to see their movie in the No 1. This is the limit to the extent these guys can go pretty lame i would say. The film jokes about what happens in the industry and also laughs at many of the past Oscar winner and the roles they have taken.

Tom Cruise on the other hand has a small cameo in the film that has been getting most of the spotlight. But this is really a welcome change for the actor who has been going through patch. He seems to be getting his act together now and has brought back the release of Valkyrie to Dec. The strategy by MGM is really a good one. I really can’t wait for this movie till next year. So with an early release it is sure to catch some much needed Oscar buzz for the actor. The film is directed by Tom Cruise.
