This has come s a real surprise that Tom Cruise has opted out of the spy action thriller Edwin A.Salt. He used to thrive on these action movies for so long. But this turn into comedy has come after some early reviews on his cameo in Tropic Thunder. He seems to have become the Show stealer in the Ben Stiller directed movie. Now Hollywood Reporter just said that he is planning to take on a role that is loosely attached to the character from the Tropic Thunder and star in a movie called Food Fight.

Cruise will play a high brow New York chef who is forced to cook in a school cafeteria. It was initially said that Steven Brill from the not so famous Without a Paddle and Drillbit Taylor to helm the project. But I think Tom Cruise totally disagreed with tha prospect. For the time being Adam Brooks from the sweet Definitely Maybe film will write the script for the film. But still in the pipeline is the strong one eyed Hitler assassin in the Bryan singer movie Valkyrie. That is surely going to be something to watch out for.
