JJ Abrams and Tom Cruise

The producer of Lost is all set to work with David Seltzer, the screenwriter of the original “Omen”, to shake up audiences with a movie involving an earthquake. J.J Abrams is right now working hard on the upcoming Star Trek movie that is set to release next year in May. So the moment that is done he is surely going to make the earth move.

It is not to be a remake of the 1974 film called Earthquake but they will deviate from that story as far as possible. As usual details of the story are put under some temporary wraps like all the other JJ Abrams projects. Abrams is surely on a high after his December disaster flick Cloverfield was an instant hit. It was a small film made with a big story in the background it was a big hit with moviegoers the world over.

Abrams is putting the final touches to his Star Trek movie and plans only to produce the Earthquake movie. Seltzer on the other hand is working on the Strangers on a Train remake at Warner Bros.
