Rachel McAdams and Tim Robbins

Rachel McAdams seems to be growing from strength to strength with each role she has been taking. She began with Mean Girls and the much loved The Notebook. Then there were a string of ensemble pieces like The Family Stone, Wedding Crashers and the hyperbole Red Eye. But it seems it didn’t go as planned for the actor this year she came out with the critical darling Married Life.

But the year has still not ended she has the adaptation of one of my favorite books The Time Travelers Wife by Audrey Niffenegger and then there is The Lucky Ones with Tim Robbins and Michael Pena who play war vets.

The trailer seems to be a tear jerker and directed by Neil Burger who gave us the powerful The illusionist which was sort of eclipsed by the Christopher Nolan movie The Prestige. So this might just turn out to be McAdams year after all. The song in the end of the trailer is by Sarah Mclachlan I Will Remember you
