Miramax seems to be getting the right kind of cred for their movies. They have just debuted their trailer of the Mike Leigh film that seems to be turning into a sensation overnight at many festivals. Happy Go Lucky is a small film about a carefree Poppy, played by the fresh Sally Hawkins. She seems to be heading no where when it comes to romance. It is directed by the talented Mike Leigh who wrote and director greats like Secret and Lies and controversial Naked. The films trailer it self seems to be extremely Happy but don’t be turned down by this. It is surely give away of what is in store in most of Mike Leigh movies.
