The film boasts of one of the most formidable cast in Chinese History. Leslie Cheung leads the cast playing a man named Ouyang Feng who is torn by his love for a women who rejected him. He turns into something he can not really fathom. He lives in the western desert, hiring skilled swordsmen to do his bidding. He executes contract killings in extremes of anger and malice. The violence in this movie is actually very engaging.

But his heart is still wounded by all the pain that has been caused. Even though he keeps killing people it doesn’t give him any sort of peace. Leslie is supported by some great supporting cast Tony Leung(Hero), Maggie Cheung( Days of Being Wild, In The Mood for Love, Clean), Carina Lau and Jackie Cheung. The redux promises to be a good digital transfer of the old. Wong KAr Wai himself has made sure that the film will not loose its vitality in the transfer. This is strictly for Wong Kar Wai fans.
