Claude Chabrol latest features one of the most daring performers of French Cinema. Ludivine Sagnier seems to grow into different territories after each and every one of her performaces. In the last couple of years she has become the darling of the international and French critics. The premise of the film is about a French TV weather girl who is torn between a older man and deranged young heir.

The old man is a famous married author whom she loves but who will never leave his wife. The young man who is in love with her starts to become obsessed with her love for his rival. This is when the story turns into something more than just a love affair. The woman reaches a state in which she is cut between the two men. The film doesn’t take from the Nicole Kidman Starrer To Die For directed by Gus Van Sant. But it is mroe of a Hitchcockian style film.
