Ang Lee with Tang Wei

The man behind the magic lens Ang Lee has just begin work on his biopic on the Woodstock Founder. Greenwich Village-based interior designer Elliot Tiber was the head of the Bethel, New York, Chamber of Commerce who issued the permit for festival on his neighbor Max Yasgur’s farm. Taking Woodstock is surely going to be a mix of the styles he has used till now. It might also be the first time Ang Lee might incorporate a documentary style film making

The film is right in line with what Ang Lee has set out to do all these years. He has won the hearts of many film enthusiasts last with his uncanny spy passion story Lust, Caution. Not many people have gotten over that itself. Even before they can settle in he takes his cinematic adventure into yet another walking time bomb of a project. His projects are known for their bravery and ready to take cinema where it only could dream of going. With this in mind I hope his idea on a Woodstock biopic is surely going to turn heads. Just can’t wait.
