If you are looking for a movie to watch in the weekend, just to relax or something, this is just not it.

A slobber knocker thriller mixed with a lot of action packed sequences supported by great cast ,music and amazing style. This movie did not get its due credit until the DVD was released after which it became almost like a cult classic.

Two Irish brothers accidentally kill mafia thugs. They turn themselves in and get released as heroes. They see this as a call from God and feel that God’s will is to rid Earth of all the evil it has created. They start knocking off mafia gang members one by one. Willem Dafoe plays the detective trying to figure out the killings, but the closer he gets to catching these brothers, the more he thinks the brothers are doing the right thing.

At some point in the film you tend to think they are doing everything against the law, but when they do it surrounded by people, who know they are doing good, very few would dare admit it. Risking their lives for their beliefs of Veritas (truth) and Aequitas (justice), they finally accomplish what they set out to do. The film also has a lot of swearing which is done with great taste. There are also some beautifully choreographed killings which make this a pleasure to watch for some. There is also a certain references to scriptures which makes this film rise above a B grade feature. This movie can be enjoyed like candy or a hard knuckle to the face.

One of the most Famous prayer quotes ever:
“And sheperds we shall be for Thee,my Lord for thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee and teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In nomine Patris, et filii, et spiritus sancti

A slick stylish action flick worth a watch. You don’t wanna miss this.
